Has physical pain or discomfort ever derailed your mindfulness practice? I know it has for me. Something as simple as an itch on my nose or an urge to use the bathroom has taken my mind from bliss to distress in a blink. I know all to well how it can happen in my day-to-day life as well.
Yet, just like learning to ride the waves of mental distractions you can learn to ride the waves of pain. Pain and discomfort don’t always go away. But, in today’s practice we learn how to address them on our own terms.
